Term 4
Advanced Track 1: Pearls from Peter
"The apostle Peter was the Fisherman-Shepherd of the Twelve apostles of the Lamb. The two Epistles he wrote are packed with pearls of wisdom. The pearl is the only 'living gem' of all precious stones. First Peter deals with the first coming of Christ: His sufferings and glory. Second Peter deals with events relative to His second coming. This series will deal with some of these pearls from Peter: A Spiritual House, a Royal Priesthood; Spiritual Sacrifices! Bring your Bible and Notebook. Be blessed. Be challenged to be all that God has called you to be."
Advanced Track 2: A Christian Response to Global Issues
Everyday we are bombarded with major issues of justice or cultural trends that shape the society and world we live in. How do we respond to these as followers of Jesus? What is our stance to the rise of atheism and secularism? What is our involvement in seeking to stop human trafficking? To ignore these issues is to play the dangerous game of apathy and ignorance. A God of mercy and justice is looking for the same fruit in His followers. This short advanced track will help equip believers in a few of the major global issues facing us today. We are inviting some guest speakers who are well researched in the areas they will be addressing. Those attending will not only be equipped and educated but also find practical steps they can take to be an answer to our hurting world – after all, we are ambassadors of a Kingdom that proclaims Good News!"
